A LinkedIn profile photo is the most-viewed picture most professionals will ever have, and it is almost always the one they put the least thought into. It is displayed small and circular, next to a name, in a feed full of competing faces, which means the things that matter are the crop, the contrast against a busy background and whether the face is recognisable at the size of a thumbnail. Starkie Teams gives a whole team photographs built for that format rather than cropped down to it.

From a phone

A few selfies in, a headshot out.

Each person sends a handful of selfies from wherever they are. It takes about five minutes on a phone, with no studio to book and no photographer to schedule.

Built for a small circle, not a large rectangle

The common failure is a good photograph that does not survive the crop: a full-length shot where the face becomes a smudge, or a group photo where a stranger’s shoulder is still visible inside the circle.

Because the whole organisation is generated inside one style, the background stays plain enough to survive a tight circular crop and to keep the face clearly separated from it. Each person reviews 40 frames and picks the one that looks most like them, which is the part a stock template can never do.

The catalogue

Pick a style once. It applies to everyone.

Backdrops and outfits are chosen for the organisation, not per person, which is how a pile of individual uploads comes back as one team.

A team that looks like a team in the feed

Individually, a LinkedIn photo is a personal choice. Collectively, it is a brand signal: a prospect who looks at four people from the same company sees four backgrounds, four lighting setups and four eras.

Generating everyone inside one style makes the set legible without making it uniform, since each person still picks their own frame. Where a brand template exists, a branded profile picture comes out alongside, in two sizes, cropped to a circle, a rounded square or a square, carrying a ring, badge and logo if you want them.

Five minutes per person, from their phone

An admin sets the organisation up, fixes the style, and lets the team in: named invitations, or one shared link that only company addresses can use. Everyone works from their phone, agreeing to the wording and sending selfies, and 40 photos land about an hour later.

There is no account to create and nothing to install. Anyone who forgets receives automatic reminder emails. Because a profile photo is personal, nothing is published on anyone’s behalf: people download their own picture and update their own profile.

The result

Everyone, in the same light.

Choose a backdrop and an outfit once. Every person who joins is generated inside that style, so the team page finally looks like one team rather than a collage of whoever had a photo.

Frequently asked questions

Do people have to use the photo on LinkedIn?

No. Everyone downloads their own photograph and decides where it goes. Nothing is posted or connected to any social account, and taking part requires each person to accept the consent text themselves first.

What makes these different from a phone selfie?

The selfies are only the input. What comes back is 40 frames in the style the organisation chose, with a consistent background, framing and lighting, so a whole team ends up compatible rather than each person improvising against a kitchen wall.

Can we get a square version for other tools?

Define a brand template for the organisation and every eligible person also gets a branded profile picture at two sizes, in a circular, rounded or square crop. It is rebuilt automatically if someone changes their chosen photo.

How much for a team of twenty-five?

Twenty-five people is the second threshold exactly, so the team buys at 30% off $39. A smaller team still gets 20% from the fifth credit, and larger accounts reach 40% and then half.

Give the whole team the same headshot, without the shoot day.

Free to set up: you only pay when you buy credits. There is no subscription, and you don't need a card to start.
