Company headshots
Professional headshots for the whole team, without a shoot day
Every teammate gets 40 matching headshots from selfies on their phone, with no studio and no shoot day. $39 per person, less at volume.
From $39 per person, volume discounts from 5 people.

- 40 headshots per person
- About an hour from selfies to download
- Nobody on the team needs an account
Photographing a whole company used to mean booking a studio, blocking out a day and chasing everyone who happened to be travelling. Starkie Teams replaces that. An admin creates the organisation, picks one style for everyone, and invites people by email or with a single open link. Each person consents, uploads a handful of selfies from their phone, and gets 40 finished headshots back, usually within about an hour. Nobody needs an account, nobody needs to be in the same city, and the team ends up looking like it belongs to the same company.

See it work
From selfies to a finished set, in four moves.
Nothing here needs a studio, a camera or a calendar. The whole thing runs from a phone and a browser.

Uploading 8 selfies

- 1Send a few selfiesSix to twelve photos from a phone, wherever the person is.
- 2We train a model of themA private model per person, built from those selfies.
- 3The style is already chosenThe backdrop and outfit the organisation set apply to everyone.
- 440 headshots, ready to approveIn about an hour. Approve, download, done.
The result
Everyone, in the same light.
Choose a backdrop and an outfit once. Every person who joins is generated inside that style, so the team page finally looks like one team rather than a collage of whoever had a photo.

One style for the whole company
Consistency is the point. Before anyone is invited, the admin picks the backdrops and outfits everyone will share, so the finished set reads as one company rather than a collage of holiday crops and conference badges. That choice is stored on the organisation and applied to every person who joins, including the ones who upload three weeks late.
New hires added next quarter get the same treatment from the same style, which is what keeps a team page or a slide deck from drifting apart over time. If the style needs to change, changing it once changes it for everyone who follows.

How a team shoot actually runs
There is no shoot day. The admin creates the organisation, picks the style, then invites people either by pasting a list of email addresses or by sharing one open link restricted to the company’s own domain. Each person opens the link on their phone, reads and accepts the consent text, and uploads a set of selfies: no account, no password, nothing to install.
Generation starts immediately and 40 finished headshots usually come back within about an hour. Anyone who has not uploaded receives automatic reminder emails, and an admin can nudge one person, or everyone still outstanding, from the people page.

Approve before anything is delivered
Some companies want a look before photos reach the people in them. Turning approval on in the organisation’s settings holds every finished set for review: the admin opens that person’s gallery, approves it, and only then does the ’your photos are ready’ email go out.
Rejecting sends a note explaining why and grants a free retake, so the person walks back through the upload step without spending another credit and lands in the review queue with a new set. With approval on, the organisation-wide ZIP and gallery list only include approved people, so nothing half-checked leaves the account by accident.

The catalogue
Pick a style once. It applies to everyone.
Backdrops and outfits are chosen for the organisation, not per person, which is how a pile of individual uploads comes back as one team.

For whoever runs it
Built for the person organising the team as well as the people in it.
- Invite in bulk
- Paste an address book, upload a CSV or circulate one open link limited to your own domain.
- Approve before anything goes live
- Hold every finished set for review. Turn one down with a short reason and that person gets another attempt at no cost.
- Branded profile pictures
- A framed, on-brand square for every person alongside the headshots, ready for Slack, Teams and email signatures.
- Consent and retention, logged
- Each person accepts a versioned consent text. Selfies are erased at the end of the retention period, and photos open only through signed links that expire.
- API and webhooks
- Create members from your HR system and react the moment their photos are ready. Signed deliveries and a public reference; no polling.
- SSO for larger organisations
- Single sign-on for the admins who run it, and a Data Processing Agreement you can read before you sign anything.
Consent, privacy and deletion
Every person accepts a versioned consent text before uploading anything, and the version is recorded alongside their agreement, so when the text changes they are asked again rather than carried along on an old one. The selfies people upload are working material, not an archive: they are deleted automatically once their retention window ends.
No photo has a public address: each one opens through a signed link that expires, so a delivered gallery is not crawlable and a copied link stops working shortly after it is issued. Anyone can wipe their own record from the link they were invited through, and the confirmation comes back in writing.
Your selfies are used to generate your headshots and deleted at the end of the retention period.
Downloads, branding and what it costs
Finished photos come out as one archive for the whole organisation: a folder per person plus a manifest naming every file, so handing the set to a designer or loading it into an HR system is one download rather than forty emails.
If the organisation defines a brand template (colour, a circular, rounded or square crop, a ring, a badge and a logo) every eligible headshot is also composited into a branded profile picture at two sizes. A credit costs $39, and the account keeps whatever discount its lifetime volume has earned, so the calculator further down this page will price any headcount typed into it.

Frequently asked questions
How long does the whole thing take?
Each person’s photos usually come back within about an hour of them uploading. The slow part is people, not processing: the shoot finishes when the last person has uploaded, which is exactly why automatic reminders and the open invite link exist. Most teams plan it as a week on the calendar rather than a day.
Do employees need an account?
No. Each person is invited by email or through the open link and works entirely from that link on their phone: consent, upload, then their gallery. There is no password to set and nothing to install. If they later sign in to Starkie with the same verified email address they can find their galleries again, but that step is optional.
What happens to the selfies people upload?
They are used to generate that person’s headshots and nothing else, then deleted automatically when their retention window ends. They are never reachable from a public address: every read goes through a short-lived signed link. Anyone can also clear their own record whenever they like, straight from the link that invited them, and gets that confirmed in writing.
What if someone is unhappy with their photos?
With approval switched on, an admin can reject a set with a note and the person gets a free retake: a second upload that costs no extra credit. Without approval, each person picks their favourite from the 40 they receive, and an admin can grant a retry credit from the people page or through the API.
What does it cost for a team of fifty?
Credits cost $39 each. The reduction is cumulative across everything the account has ever bought: 20% once it reaches five credits, 30% at twenty-five, 40% at one hundred, 50% at two hundred and fifty. Fifty people therefore buy at 30%, which is $27.30 each and $1,365 in total, and the calculator above confirms it.
Can this be wired into our own systems?
Yes. Every organisation can mint scoped API keys and use a JSON API to create and invite members, list them, fetch a member’s images or branded profile picture, send reminders, grant retries and create open invite links. Signed webhooks fire when a member is invited, uploads, has photos ready, is approved or deleted, and when branded pictures are re-rendered.
Give the whole team the same headshot, without the shoot day.
Free to set up: you only pay when you buy credits. There is no subscription, and you don't need a card to start.
