Headshots for law firms, without a day off the clock
Matching headshots for every partner, associate and trainee, from selfies. Consistent bio pages and pitch documents without booking a studio.
From $39 per person, volume discounts from 5 people.

- 40 headshots per person
- About an hour from selfies to download
- Nobody on the team needs an account
A firm’s people pages are read more carefully than most of its marketing. Clients compare biographies, referral partners check who is actually on the matter, and directories pull the same photograph across. When half the bench was shot in a studio four years ago and the rest submitted whatever they had to hand, the firm looks less organised than it is. Starkie Teams gives every partner, associate and trainee the same treatment from selfies taken on a phone, with no billable hours lost to a shoot day.

The result
Everyone, in the same light.
Choose a backdrop and an outfit once. Every person who joins is generated inside that style, so the team page finally looks like one team rather than a collage of whoever had a photo.

Sample headshots generated by Starkie from phone selfies.
Bios, directories and pitch documents finally agree
The same photograph ends up on the firm’s website, in a beauty parade deck, in a legal directory submission and in the signature block of an email to opposing counsel. Sourcing it four separate times is how a firm ends up with four different faces for one lawyer.
Because everyone in the organisation is generated inside one shared style, the crop, background and lighting match across the whole bench, so a two-partner pitch page does not read as two different firms. Each person receives 40 frames and picks the one that goes out.

See it work
From selfies to a finished set, in four moves.
Nothing here needs a studio, a camera or a calendar. The whole thing runs from a phone and a browser.

How a firm runs it
A practice manager creates the organisation, chooses a conservative style once, then invites the firm either by pasting in the address book or by circulating one open link limited to the firm’s own domain.
Each lawyer accepts the consent text, uploads selfies from their phone between meetings, and has 40 headshots about an hour later. Nobody books a room, nobody needs an account, and people sitting at a client site or in a second office take part on exactly the same terms as the ones down the corridor.

Approval, because publishing is a decision
Firms rarely publish a photograph nobody senior has seen. Approval can be switched on, and then every finished set is held pending review: marketing or the managing partner opens the gallery, releases it, and only then does the lawyer receive their photos.
Turning a set down means writing a short reason, and the lawyer gets another attempt at no cost, which matters when the objection is a tie or a backdrop rather than the person. Consent is versioned and logged per lawyer, the uploaded selfies are erased at the end of the retention period, and images open only through signed links that expire soon after they are handed out.

As it happens
Every person, at their own pace.
People upload when it suits them. The organiser watches the set fill up and approves sets as they come in; nobody waits for a studio slot.

Frequently asked questions
Can we keep the style formal?
The organisation picks its backdrops and outfits before anyone is invited, so a firm that wants plain backgrounds and business dress sets that once and every lawyer is generated inside it. Nobody drifts into a different look, because that decision sits with the firm’s organisation and not with the individual.
What about lateral hires and new trainees?
They are invited whenever they arrive and generated from the style already stored on the organisation, so a person who joins in November matches colleagues photographed in March. Credits are bought by the account rather than tied to a session, so there is no minimum group and no need to wait for a batch.
Does the firm have to collect and store photographs of its lawyers?
No. Each lawyer uploads their own selfies through their private invite link, under a consent text they accept themselves, so the firm never handles the source images. Those uploads are cleared once the retention period expires, and any lawyer may ask for their record to be removed whenever they choose.
What does it cost for a firm of thirty?
Thirty credits clears the twenty-five threshold, so the firm buys at 30% off the $39 list. Below that the reduction is 20% from the fifth credit; above it, one hundred earns 40% and two hundred and fifty earns half.
