Legal biographies are formal documents with a photograph attached, and the photograph is held to the same register as the text beneath it. Is this suitable for directory submissions?
Each lawyer receives 40 full-size frames on a plain, consistent background, which is the format directory submissions expect. They choose the one that goes out, and the firm can require approval before that happens.
Do associates and partners get the same treatment?
Yes, because the style is a property of the firm’s organisation, not of an individual or a sitting. That is usually the point: a bio page where seniority is signalled by photo quality is the problem being solved.
Who holds the source photographs?
Each lawyer uploads their own selfies under a consent they accept themselves, and those uploads are deleted automatically when the retention window ends. Images are reachable only through a signed link that expires; none of them has a public address.
Can we add a lateral hire without redoing the firm?
